Kristina Akheeva To Romance Upendra In Uppi 2

Superstar and Realstar Upendra's upcoming directorial venture Uppi 2 is making a huge buzz even from its pre production stage. The movie, which is all set to go on floors in July 2014, has zeroed in Russian actress turned model Kristina Akheeva to play the female lead in the film. Earlier Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan and Katrina Kaif's name were heard for the female lead, which was not fruitful due to the unknown reasons. In 2012, the Russian beauty was roped in for the Bollywood movie Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 starring Dharmendra along with his two sons - Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Upendra, who was in search of a new face for the female lead zeroed Kristina, who is currently busy with the shooting of Telugu movie Galipatam opposite Aadi. Sources close to the makers said that Kristina Akheeva will be coming down to Bangalore in the first week of July after wrapping up the shooting of Telugu flick Galipatam. Beside directing Uppi 2, Upendra is also playing a role, who is aiming to release the movie by 2015. The makers have completed the audio recording of the movie in Bangalore. Sandalwood's sensational music composer Gurukiran has scored the music for the film.

Mixture Of Glamour And Talent It is said that Uppi was searching for an actress, who will be the mixture of glamour and talent. The director was bowled over by the actress performance in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2.
