Real Star Upendra was back on his home terrain earlier this week. The actor, director was on a recce for his upcoming directorial Uppi 2 in Karavali. Accompanied by friend and cinematographer Ashok Cashyap, the actor scouted a series of locations in Kudla, Hebri, Padubidri and Agumbe.
"I have always loved shooting in this part of the state. It is my home ground after all. In the past too, we have shot songs and climaxes of many of my films in and around Mangalore and Kundapur," shares Upendra. The actor visited a heritage home in Yermal near Padubidri and later proceeded to Hebri and Agumbe. "We spend two wonderful days there including eating local delicacies; I've also finalized some beautiful locations that have never been shown on the screen before," says Uppi, who then proceeded to Ooty for the final leg of the recce.
The actor refrained from mentioning the exact locations as he didn't want attract attention from locals when the team begins filming here.
