R Chandru's Brahma, starring Upendra and Pranitha Subhash, has been in the news ever since the film was announced. Be it the first look of the film that saw Upendra in the avatar of a warrior or the actor's modern day don image — Brahma seems to be making the right noise. Recently, the team shot a techno song in Mumbai, and the actor wore an LED suit for the number, quite similar to those worn by Bollywood biggies like Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.
"We wanted to shoot the song with LED lights and Bangalore doesn't have the technology to support our attempt. So, we decided to shoot the song in Mumbai, and even roped in Mumbai-based technicians for the same. Uppi wore an LED costume. Incidently, it took us about a month to design Upendra's LED costume," says Chandru.
The song, which was shot over four days, has been choreographed by Chinni Prakash. The music for the song has been scored by Gurukiran. An excited Chandru even hummed the peppy number — Thingu Thingu Somethingu — for us. "The song written by Kaviraj is very catchy, and I am sure it will be a rage among the youth," says the director.
