ಶಿವ ಒಂದು ಕಣ್ಣು ತೆರೆದರೆ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್, ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಣ್ಣು ತೆರೆದರೆ ಮಾಸ್, ಮೂರನೇ ಕಣ್ಣು ತೆರೆದರೆ ಖಲಾಸ್ -- ಇದು 'ಶಿವ' ಚಿತ್ರದ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಡೈಲಾಗ್. ಹಲವು ಅಂಶಗಳಿಂದ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ರಿಯಲ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ, ತಾನು ಶಿವಣ್ಣನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ ಎಂದು ಹೊಗಳಿ ಅಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸೆಂಚುರಿ ಹೀರೋ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿರುವ 'ಶಿವ' ಮೇ 18ರಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗಷ್ಟೇ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ 'ಶಿವ' ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕೆಲವು ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಕ್ಲಿಪ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರೂ ಒಬ್ಬ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಚಿತ್ರ ಹೇಗಿದೆ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲೇ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವ ಅವರು, ನಾನು ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಫ್ಯಾನ್. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೀಟಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Topiwala shooting in brisk progress

Super Star Upendra starrer Topiwala directed by R.J.Sreeni started its shoot recently at the mountainous stretch near Ramnagar.

Now, both Upendra and his heroine in the film Bhavana have joined the shoot. For the first two days, some key sequences featuring Ravishankar and Rangayana Raghu were picturused. For R.J. Sreeni who is well known Radio Jockey, this is the first venture as a director.

On Monday morning the muhurath of the film was held in the Male Mahadeshwara Temple.in Chamrajpet with only a few members of the team in attendance including Upendra and Sreeni. Immediately, the entire unit went to Ramnagar where the shooting of important sequences were canned.

The shooting of the film will be held for six days in Ramnagar and its surroundings.

Upendra has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film which is being produced by Kanakapura Sreenivas and K.P.Srikanth who are now giving finishing touches for the shooting of their film Shiva with Shivaraj Kumar in the lead. Hari Krishna is the music director of the film.

Upendra’s ‘Godfather’ embellished by Rahman’s melodies

Widely-expected foray of A R Rahman into Sandalwood has been stalked due to extraneous reasons. Oscar recipient may not score for Godfather.

It was speculated that Rahman would be decorating Godfather with the same mellifluous tunes of Varaalaru in Tamil.

Rahman, while retaining most of the tracks of Varalaru, which had proved to be hits in Tamil, will be composing a couple of fresh tracks for the Kannada version. On the sidelines, director P.C Sriram had made it clear that Rahman had agreed to come out with new numbers for Godfather which features Soundarya, daughter of Jayamala, Catherine Tresa and Bhumika Chawla.

Anna Bond to clash against Katari Veera Surasundarangi

Are Anna Bond and Katari Veera Surasundarangi heading for a clash? Yes, say reports. The buzz in the industry is that both the movies will be releasing on April 26.

The makers of Anna Bond have announced long before that the Suri's film will hit the screens on April 26 keeping late Dr Rajkumar's birthday, which is on April 24, in mind. Now, the rumours are doing rounds that producer Munirathna wants to release Katari Veera Surasundarangi on the same day.

Reports further claim that Munirathna is doing his best to release on April 26 even though he has not announced it officially. It may be recalled that the producer's decision to ban Nikita during Darshan's wife-beating episode on moral grounds was opposed by the Rajkumar family and there were murmurs that it was not gone well with the Rakta Kanneru maker.

Now, by releasing Katari Veera Surasundarangi on the same day, he wants to flex his muscles against the family, as Upendra starrer movie 3D film is generating hye like Puneet Rajkumar's film.

ಸದ್ಯ ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಾದ ಪುನೀತ್ ಅಣ್ಣಾಬಾಂಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಅಭಿನಯದ 'ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಸುರಸುಂದರಾಂಗಿ' ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಒಂದೇ ದಿನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಲಿವೆ ಎಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 27 ರಂದೇ ಈ ಎರಡೂ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ತೆರೆಗೆ ಬರಲಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಪುನೀತ್ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಗುರುವಾರದಂದು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅಣ್ಣಾಬಾಂಡ್ 26ಕ್ಕೆ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಬಹುದಷ್ಟೇ. ಹೇಗೇ ಆದರೂ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ.

ಅಣ್ಣಾಬಾಂಡ್ ಸೆಟ್ಟೇರಿದ ದಿನದಿಂದಲೂ ಡಾ ರಾಜ್ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬ, ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 24ಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಎಂದೇ ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತಾದರೂ ಆ ದಿನವೇ ಎರಡು ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ದಕ್ಕುವುದು ತಪ್ಪಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅಣ್ಣಾಬಾಂಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಎರಡೂ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳೂ ಪುನೀತ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹಾತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರವಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಬದಲಾದರೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವೇನಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಮೊದಲೂ ಕೂಡ ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು.

ಕೆಲವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನ ಇವೆರಡೂ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದರೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಗೆ ನಡುಕ ತಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಬದಲಾದರೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪುನೀತ್ ಅಣ್ಣಾಬಾಂಡ್ ತಂಡ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪೇನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ಮೊದಲವಾರ ವಿದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಬೆಳೆಸಲಿದೆ

ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಆ ದಿನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಾಲಿವುಡ್ ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಾದ ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಎನ್ ಟಿಆರ್ ಚಿತ್ರ 'ದಮ್ಮು' ಹಾಗೂ ಮಗಧೀರ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ರಾಮ್ ಚರಣ್ ತೇಜಾರ ಚಿತ್ರ 'ರಚ್ಚ' ಕೂಡ ಅದೇ ದಿನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುವುದು ಪಕ್ಕಾ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಇಷ್ಟೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ, ರಾಮ್ ಚರಣ್ ತೇಜಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೂ. ಎನ್ ಟಿಆರ್ ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಗುರುಗಳಾದ ರಾಜಮೌಳಿಯ ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಚಿತ್ರ 'ಈಗ' ಚಿತ್ರವೂ ಅದೇ ದಿನ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ನೀಡುವ ಸಂಭವವಿದೆ.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಈ ತೆಲುಗು ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಪೈಪೋಟಿ ನೀಡಲಾರವು. ಆದರೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೊಡೆತ ತಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಲ್ಲ. ತೆಲುಗು ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಅದೇ ದಿನ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲೂ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅಣ್ಣಾಬಾಂಡ್ ಆಂಧ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಏನೇ ಆಗಲಿ ತೆಲುಗು ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಹಾಕುವ ಕಾಲವಂತೂ ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.

ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಮುಗಿದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರದತ್ತ ಬರುವ ಕಾಲ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ಆಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳು ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಫೇವರೆಟ್. ಹಾಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪುಟ್ಟ ನಟರ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲು ಅಥವಾ ನಂತರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಕಂಡು ಬಚಾವಾಗಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೇನಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಕಾದು ನೋಡೋಣ

Upendra-Sudeep starrer movie dropped

Upendra and Sudeep starrer proposed project has been dropped. The ambitious film of the duo is halted due to date and other issues.

Last September, Upendra had announced that he would be joining hands with Sudeep for a multi-starrer movie. However, now Kicha has announced that the project will not happen. It is because they wished to work together at some point of time but as they were busy with other films, it got delayed leading to drop the film.

Meanwhile, Sudeep's other project with Shivaraj Kumar is said to be on the back burner. The Vishnuvardhana star claims that the Om hero has not given a nod for the project yet and it is still on the cold storage.

`ನಾನು ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ; ರಮ್ಯಾ ಸುರ ಸುಂದರಾಂಗಿ` ಎಂದು ಕಣ್ಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಸರನೆ ಅತ್ತಿಂದಿತ್ತ ತಿರುಗಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನಕ್ಕರು ಉಪ್ಪಿ. ಕಠಾರಿ ವೀರ ಸ್ವಮೇಕ್ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಇದೊಂದು ರೊಮ್ಯಾಂಟಿಕ್ ಫ್ಯಾಂಟಸಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆ ಲವಲವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದೆ. ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ರಮ್ಯಾ ಜತೆ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೂಡ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದೆ. ರಮ್ಯಾ ಅದ್ಭುತ ನಟಿ... ಹೀಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೊಸ ಸಿನಿಮಾ `ಕಠಾರಿ ವೀರ`ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದರು ಉಪ್ಪಿ.

ರಮ್ಯಾ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಾಯಕಿ. ಅಪ್ಸರೆ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಈಕೆ ಸುರಸುಂದರಾಂಗಿಯಂತೆ. ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪ್ಪಿ ಮೂರು ಅವತಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನರಕ, ಸ್ವರ್ಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಬಗೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ. ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಾರ್ಧನ ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ಅವರು ಕಥೆ ಹೆಣೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುತ್ತಪ್ಪ ರೈ ಅತಿಥಿ ಪಾತ್ರವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.


ಉಪ್ಪಿ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಿಂಬಲ್‌ಗಳೇ (ಶ್!, ಓಂ, ಎ, ಸೂಪರ್) ಹೆಸರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು. ಆದರೆ ಉಪ್ಪಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಇಷ್ಟುದ್ದ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಠಾರಿ ವೀರನಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಮೋಡಿ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂದ ಹಾಗೆ `ಕಠಾರಿ ವೀರ` ಕನ್ನಡದ ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮ 3ಡಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಕೂಡ ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಐಟಂ ನಂಬರ್ ಕೂಡ ಇದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎವರ್‌ಗ್ರೀನ್ ಬ್ಯೂಟಿ ಸುಮನ್ ರಂಗನಾಥ್, ರಮಣೀತೊ ಚೌಧರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಿಷಿಕಾ ಅವರು ರಂಭಾ, ಊರ್ವಶಿ, ಮೇನಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈ ಕುಣಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.


`ಕಠಾರಿ ವೀರ ಸುರಸುಂದರಾಂಗಿ` ಫ್ಯಾಂಟಸಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ರೆಬೆಲ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಅಂಬರೀಷ್ ಅವರು ಯಮನ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ದೊಡ್ಡಣ್ಣ ಚಿತ್ರಗುಪ್ತನ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮುನಿರತ್ನ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು. ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ಯಮೇಂದ್ರ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಎನ್ನುವ ಹೆಸರಿಡಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಧು ಕೋಕಿಲ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಕಾರಣಾಂತರಗಳಿಂದ ಅವೆರಡು ಬದಲಾದವು. ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸುರೇಶ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗ ನಾನು ಕಠಾರಿ ವೀರ, ರಮ್ಯಾ ಸುರಸುಂದರಾಂಗಿ ಎಂದು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ನಕ್ಕರು ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ.

`ರಾಜ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ರಿಮೇಕ್ ಕೂಡ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಇದೊಂದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೊಸತನವುಳ್ಳ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಸ್ವಮೇಕ್ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಶೂಟಿಂಗ್ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹಾಡುಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಬಾಕಿ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದು ಸ್ವಿಡ್ಜರ್ಲೆಂಡ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಸಿಂಬಲ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಇಡುವುದು ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರ ಸ್ಟೈಲ್; ನನ್ನದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಬೇರೆ ಅಭಿರುಚಿ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಠಾರಿ ವೀರ ಸುರಸುಂದರಾಂಗಿ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ` ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಮುನಿರತ್ನ.

ಉಪ್ಪಿ ಅಭಿನಯದ `ಎಲ್ಲ ಓಕೆ, ಕೂಲ್ ಡ್ರಿಂಕ್ ಯಾಕೆ?` ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಆಗ ಅನೇಕ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆಳೆದಿತ್ತು. ತುಂಬಾ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ಕೂಡ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಈಗಲೂ ಕೂಡ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ರಿಯಲ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಮ್ಯಾನರಿಸಂ ಹಾಗೂ ಡೈಲಾಗ್ ಡೆಲಿವರಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಜನರ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೂರಿ ನಿಂತಿದೆ.

`ನನ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುಬಿ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಜತೆಗಿನ ಸಂಬಂಧಕ್ಕೆ ಈಗ 12 ವರ್ಷವಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂತು. ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಒಂದೇ ಕಂಪೆನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಸುಧೀರ್ಘಕಾಲ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವುದು ಸುಲಭದ ಮಾತಲ್ಲ. ಯುಬಿಗೆ ಬ್ರ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಅಂಬಾಸಿಡರ್ ಆದಾಗ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗ ಕಾರ್ಪೋರೇಟ್ ವಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಕಂಪೆನಿಯ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು. ಆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲ್ಯ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಫೋಟೋ ಸೆಷನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಅನುಭವ. ಆ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿವೆ` ಎಂದು ಖುಷಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ.

Shooting for Real Star Upendra's new film opposite Malayalam actor Bhavana starts in Ram Nagar

His last release, Aarakshaka, may have been a dud at the BO, but Real star Upendra is not one to mope. The actor has been busy shooting for not one, but three projects - Godfather, Katari Veera Surasundarangi and Topiwala. In fact, Topiwala sees director-turned-actor Uppi chip in as scriptwriter too. Shooting for the film, which sees Uppi pair with Malayalam actor Bhavana for the first time, began on Tuesday in Ram Nagar. "Topiwala shooting started in Ram Nagar, where epic movie Sholay has been shot," the actor wrote on his micro-blogging page. The film, which sees Upendra sport a six-pack, will get a Telugu release as well, he added. "Both Katari Veera Surasundarangi and Topiwala, we are planing to release in Kannada and Telugu," he tweeted.

Upendra has also been tweeting about starting another home production, asking followers to suggest a good banner name.
