The corporatisation of the underworld was one of the main factors that were found in the screenplay of Upendra directed film “Super”. Though the major concept of Super is something related to the look of India in 2030, the other fresh elements in the film included the corporatisation of the underworld.

Now, Puri Jaganadh’s new film Businessman which has now turned out to be a major success in the Box office also has the elements of corporatisation of the underworld which forms one part of the screenplay.

Earlier the concept of Kannada film Hollywood for which Upendra wrote the story and screenplay was found in Shankar directed “Endhiran’ starring Super Star Rajnikanth. Some how many film enthusiasts who have seen the Telugu film “Businessman’ are convinced that Puri might have a strong influence from Upendra’s concept of corporatisation of underworld which was one of the elements in the total screenplay. Super was released on December 3 and its Telugu dubbed version was released two months later. Mahesh Babu’s Businessman was shot precisely in 65 days and is perhaps the only Mahesh Babu film to be canned in just around two months. The script of the film has just taken two to three months for completion. Normally, Puri Jagannath’s goes to Bangkok to write the story and screenplay of all his films. Most of his dialogues are written or changed from its original form on spot while the shooting. Therefore any perception that Puri might have copied this concept from Uppi directed “Super’ definitely carries weight
