Mega Set for 'Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi'

The master craftsman in erecting opulent sets known very well in South India Kiran has made a grand Indra Loka set at Dr Ramoji Rao Film City and shooting on this set is held till 20th of this month in the direction of Suresh Krissna.

The film ‘Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi’ made at cost of Rs.15 crore in 3D technology with over 120 layers of colors has been the most fascinating fact says Upendra speaking to this correspondent at ‘Kalpana’ muhuruth on Wednesday morning.

We have lost interest in 2D and 3D is such an absorbing work done by the technicians of ‘My Dear Chota Chetan’ informed Upendra who is playing the common man role in the Munirathna Naidu production. Upendra as a super star is not directing ‘Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi’ but he has penned the story, screenplay, dialogues for the film.

There is one song for ‘Yamaraja’ that is played by Ambarish in the film. The sets of ‘Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi’ are similar in grandeur of Babruvahana and Bhaktha Prahallada it is learnt.

Actress of high reputation Ramya plays the daughter of Indra in this film. Sridhar, Chetan, Tennis Krishna, Doddanna and others are in the cast. Rockey Rajesh is the stunt director and Chinni Prakash is the choreographer

On 20th of this month the special day at the shooting location in Dr Ramoji Rao film city on this Indraloka set. Upendra invited the media friends to take part in the shooting.

As the 4th Bengaluru International Film Festival will be in progress the plans are there to make a visit for one day on 20th of this month.
