As told earlier the Malayalam film ‘Udayamtaram’ Kannada version titled as ‘Gandhinagara Mahatme’ staringUpendra and Prem in Sadhu Kokiladirection for producer Munirathna Naiduhas been shelved.
Dropping the remake project a fresh subject penned by superstar Upendra and dialogues also for him is launching on his birthday September 18.
Sadhu Kokila and Upendra in the Munirathna combination are on a hat trick. Earlier the same team made ‘Raktha Kanneeru’ and ‘Anatharu’. Raktha Kanneeru clicked while Anatharu also starring Darshan with Upendra for the first time failed to click.
The film starting for Upendra birthday on September 18 will start shooting after Upendra on hand commitments.
In the combination of hat trick adds one more pivotal actress – Ramya. The combination of Upendra and Ramya in ‘Gowramma’ did wonders in the box office. Another combination of Upendra and Ramya starring film completed in ‘Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids’ is in cold storage
