Sources state that as the makers of the movie were not satisfied with the promotional activities of the film, they have postponed the film’s release. The makers have planned for a big promotional event in the coming weeks.
Godfather stars Upendra in triple role. Catherine Teresa and Sadaa play the leading ladies. The movie, directed by cinematographer turned director Sethu Sriram, revolves around a male dancer who faces difficulties in life, due to his feminine mannerisms. A. R. Rahman makes his debut in Sandalwood as a music composer with Godfather.
Godfather is the remake of the Tamil blockbuster Varalaaru which starred Ajith Kumar, Kanihaa and Asin in lead roles.
