Kalpana Launched – Upendra Priyanka Anniversary

Upendra says Kalpana will be a different film for him Kannada film super star Upendra and his wife Priyanka celebrated their marriage anniversary on Wednesday during the launch of the actor’s new film Kalpana which was launched today at Kanteerava studios.

For the film’s director Ram Narayan this film is 125th directorial venture though he himself admitted that this may be probably his first film as he is happy to work with such an unassuming Super Star like Upendra.

After the usual muhurath, Upendra addressed the press meet along with Ram Narayan, Actress Shruthi to brief about the film.

“I was really thrilled after seeing the film Kanchana. Raghava Lawrence has done a great job as a director of this film. The film has humor and horror elements along with a good message in the climax sequence. Ram Narayan is a veteran film director but his simplicity has bowled me. I am eager to work with much talented artists like Shruthi, Sai Kumar and Umashri Madam’ said Upendra.

Upendra as for his performance is concerned. I think the audience who has watched Upendra so far will have different type of experience watching this film. Sai Kumar is playing an important role in the film. Umashri is also doing a crucial role. Hari Krishna has composed five songs for the film’ said Ram Narayan.

Shruthi said that she has acted in all the Kannada films directed by Ram Narayan except his last film “Bombaat Car’. “He used to make films with Animals like Chinnappa Devar and has proved a bigger success in his ventures. Now, Kanchana is a good entertainer where technical values are given prominence. I am happy to be part of this film and act with the most intelligent actor and director like Upendra’ said Shruthi.
