Upendra dons a new look

Upendra, lately, has tried on different looks. Be it when his clean shaven look in Shrimathi or the long-haired punk in Super. In Kalpana, he will be seen in different get-ups.

One of them is a nerdy look, with oiled hair and glasses. The film, which is a horror comedy, also stars Lakshmi Rai, Sai Kumar Shruthi and Umashree. Sai Kumar, who is back in Sandalwood after a break, will reprise the role of a transgender, originally essayed by Sarath Kumar.
This film, which is the remake of last year's Tamil superhit Kanchana, is nearly complete. The film is slated for a yearend release. "This is a complete entertainer and I enjoyed playing my role. It will be a treat for the audience," says Upendra about his film.
