Upendra will be acting in the title role of the film Topiwala to be directed by popular RJ Srini who has already impressed several top heroes with his script. Incidentally Srini has also briefed a script to Shivaraj Kumar who has also given a nod to the talented RJ turned film director now. The film will be produced under the banner of R.S.Productions by Kanakapura Sreenivas and K.P.Srikanth. Srini has directed a Kannada film “Simply Kail Awesom’ which has won many prestigious awards.
Topiwala is a full length commercial film with lot of fun and frolic contained in the story. Jackie Bhavana will be the heroine of the film. Further details about the film are still awaited. Upendra will start shooting for the film after he completes shooting of Kanchana. Now the shooting of the songs of the film God Father produced by K.Manju and directed by Sriram has to be completed and several schedules of shooting for Munirathna produced Kataari Veera Sura Sundaraangi has to be finished.
The first song of God Father will be picturised on Upendra and debutant heroine Soundarya which will start shooting from January 1. Sources reveal that the film’s music director A.R.Rehman has just remixed his song in Varalaaru and has composed this particular song.
