The biggest in the career of producer Munirathna Naidu ‘Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi’ is all set for release on 27th of April – a day after ‘Anna Bond’ of Power star Puneeth Rajkumar.
The latest news from this first 3D Kannada film by director Suresh Krissna starring super star Upendra, Ramya, Ambarish, Doddanna and others is that producer Munirathna Naidu has decided to screen the film in 3D technology in 22 screens in Bengaluru – all of them are with latest gadgets in PVR, Malls, Multiplexes etc.
Munirathna Naidu has given a call to the single screen theatres in Karnataka to update the theatre. Before the release they spruce up in technology they would get the 3D of ‘Katariveera Sura Sundarangi’ otherwise they have to go with 2D pattern says Munirathna Naidu.
A big budget Kannada movie in 3D technology by Vrushabhadri Productions in the direction of south India well known director Suresh Krissna is shot mainly in Ramoji Rao studio in Hyderabad is the highly expected film of the year.
Producer Munirathna, sitting Councilor of Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike has produced films like Auty Preethse, Kambalahalli, Raktha Kanneeru, Anatharu Kannada films. The budget of this movie is expected to cross Rs.15 crores. Only one song for the film is left for completion.
For the first time in the four decades career Ambarish is playing ‘Yamaraja’ Lord of Death. Ramya is ‘Devakanye’. Upendra plays common man in the film. This film ‘KVSS’ is shot in seven cameras at Bengaluru, Mysore and Hyderabad.
Upendra has penned the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics for this film. HC Venu is cameraman, Harikrishna has composed the songs. Chinni Prakash is dance director, Kiran is art director, Harsha editing and Ravi Verma stunts are part of this film in the direction of Suresh Krissna.
It has been announced Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi starring Upendra and Divya Spandana in the lead roles is all set to hit the screens on April 27. The movie is the first full length 3-D flick in Sandalwood.
