 ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಸುರಸುಂದರಾಂಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಒಂದು ವಾರ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಮೇ 3, 2012 ಕ್ಕೆ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ತೆರೆಗೆ ಬರಲಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ರ ಗಾಡ್ ಫಾದರ್, ಮುನಿರತ್ನರ ಕಠಾರಿವೀರನಿಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಬರಬಾರೆಂದೆಂಬ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಕೆ ಮಂಜು ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಚಿತ್ರ ಒಂದು ವಾರದ ನಂತರ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಫಿಲ್ಮ್ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ ಕೆ ಮಂಜು ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಗಾಲು ಹಾಕುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗಾಡ್ ಫಾದರ್, ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಮಹೂರ್ತ ಆಚರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ವಾದವನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಕೆ ಮಂಜು, ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಸ್ಪೆನ್ಸ್ ಆಗಿಯೇ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ. ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ದಿನಾಂಕವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಪಕ್ಕಾ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಕಿತ್ತಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳೆರಡಕ್ಕೂ ಹೀರೋ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರರೇ. ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳೀಗ ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ತೊಳಲಾಟ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರ ಚಿತ್ರವೆಂಬುದು ಮುಖ್ಯವಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಎರಡೂ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳೂ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಆಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಕು ಎಂದು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹರಕೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವಿಷಯವೀಗ ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರದ ಗಲ್ಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

Let them release Katari after 10 weeks: K Manju

In the meantime, K Manju, the maker of Godfather that also features Upendra, is demanding that his film be released before Katari Veera Surasundarangi and that Munirathna, the film's producer, release it 10 weeks after Godfather hits theatres.

"I was in talks with Munirathna about the possibility of postponing his film. Now that he has refused to oblige, I had no choice but to ask the chamber to intervene."

Manju is of the opinion that since Godfather was the first to go on the floors and has been in the making for over a year, his film should be the first to hit the screens. "It does not make sense to release the same hero's films back to back. This has happened before, when two of Ganesh's films released in consecutive weeks and the collections dipped," claims Manju, adding, "I will not release my film with Anna Bond on April 27. I will release it a week later, on May 3. With Munirathna insisting on releasing his film along with Anna Bond, I have filed a complaint with the film chamber. But what has also upset me is that Upendra has not spoken to Munirathna to solve this issue. He should have pushed for Godfather's release first.The filmmaker now awaits the decision of the film chamber.

ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಸುರಸುಂದರಾಂಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಮುನಿರತ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಕೆ ಮಂಜು ಫಿಲ್ಮ್ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ 'ಗಾಡ್ ಫಾದರ್' ಚಿತ್ರ 'ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಸುರಸುಂದರಾಂಗಿ' ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು. ಗಾಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಮಹೂರ್ತ ಆಚರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾದವನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಕೆ ಮಂಜು.

ಆದರೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಮುನಿರತ್ನ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಠಾರಿವೀರ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯನ್ನು ಇದೇ ತಿಂಗಳು 27 ರಂದು (ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 27, 2012) ಘೋಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯವಿರಲಿ, ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ದಿನಾಂಕವನ್ನೂ ಘೋಷಿಸದ ಗಾಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಚಿತ್ರ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಬರಬೇಕೆಂಬ ವಾದವನ್ನು ಮುನಿರತ್ನ ಒಪ್ಪುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರ ವಾದ-ವಿವಾದವೀಗ ಫಿಲ್ಮ್ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರಿದೆ.

ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವೆಂದರೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಕಿತ್ತಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳೆರಡರ ಹೀರೋ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ. ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳೆರಡು ಒಂದೇ ದಿನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಆಗಿ ಉಪ್ಪಿ ವರ್ಸಸ್ ಉಪ್ಪಿ ಆಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಕು ಎಂಬುದೀಗ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಅಳಲು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಕನ್ನಡದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಬಿಗ್ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಚಿತ್ರ 'ಅಣ್ಣಾಬಾಂಡ್' ಕೂಡ ಅದೇ ವಾರ (ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 26, 2012) ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ

ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಕನ್ನಡದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಬ್ಬರು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿತ್ತಾಟ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಿಂಗಳ ಮೊದಲೇ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮುನಿರತ್ನ ಎಂಬುದು ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯಾದರೆ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಮೊದಲೇ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿರುವ ಮಂಜು ಇದೀಗ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಮುನಿರತ್ನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ದಿನ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆ ಮಂಜು ಕ್ಯಾತೆ ತೆಗೆದಿದ್ದು ಮುನಿರತ್ನರನ್ನು ಕೆರಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಆದರೆ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಈ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಬ್ಬರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಈ ಮೊದಲು ಆ ಕುರಿತು ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಂಧಾನ, ಮಾತುಕತೆ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತೇ? ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ದಿನಾಂಕದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಗೊಂದಲ ಮೂಡಿತೇ? ಅಥವಾ ಮುನಿರತ್ನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆ ಮಂಜು ಅದೇ ದಿನ ಚಿತ್ರ ತೆರೆಗೆ ತರುವ ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ? ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟೇ ಉತ್ತರ ದೊರೆಯಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 26, 2012 ಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಆಗಲಿದೆ ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಚಿತ್ರ ತೆಲುಗಿನ ಈಗ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ತೆಲುಗು ಚಿತ್ರ ರಚ್ಚ, ಬರಲಿರುವ ದಮ್ಮು ಕೂಡ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ತೀವ್ರ ಪೈಪೋಟಿ ನೀಡಲಿರುವುದು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ. ಈ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಬ್ಬರು ಕಿತ್ತಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ರಾಜಿ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಗೆಹರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಇಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಹಿತ ಎಂಬುದು ಸಿನಿಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ.

ENGLISH VERSION

Well known film producer K.Manju who was the Vice President of the Kannada film producers association has now gone against Munirathna, the present President of the KPA. In a petition filed in the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, K.Manju has requested the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to stop the release of Munirathna’s new film Kataari Veera Sura Sundaraangi which has now been planned for release on 3rd May 2012.

In a letter written to the KFCC President on 7thApril, the copy of which has been sent to the media, producer K.Manju has sought the co-operation of the trade organization to fecilitate the early release of his film “God Father’ starring Real Star Upendra and newbie actress Soundarya, as he had launched the production of the film earlier than the launch of KVSS. In the event of Munirathna seriously making attempts to release the film KVSS, Manju has requested the KFCC not to allow any advertisement of Munirrathna’s film to be published in the newspapers or allow him to get a 100 percent tax exemption for the film. A letter of confirmation is needed from the KFCC to the state government confirming that the film has followed all the procedures that makes it eligible for the full entertainment tax exemption.

K.Manju has requested the KFCC to make arrangements for the release of his film God Father at the earliest and then allow producer Munirathna to release his film at a later date. He has also added that Upendra’s another film Kalpana should be released later to the release of two films- God Father and Kataari Veera Sura Sundaraangi starring Upendra in the lead.

Industry observers are surprised over this new development which has led to some speculation that producer K.Manju might not have taken unilateral decision to petition to KFCC against the release of the film KVSS. It is well known in the industry that Corporate film distributor Prasad of Samarth Ventures has taken distribution rights of the film God Father and Vijay starrer Rajani Kantha from K.Manju. K.Manju who had suffered big losses in all his recent films is happy that he has been bailed out of the release responsibilities of his two forthcoming films.
