Karnataka's iconic beer brand - UB Export provided lucky consumers
to meet their favourite star Upendra for an evening full of
entertainment and unlimited fun. At a glittering bash which also saw the
brand celebrated Sandalwood's Real Star's 45th birthday, Upendra was
seen getting candid with his fans as they shared precious moments with
each other.
In a contest run by UB Export, fans from across the State were selected
to meet the star at celebrations organized by United Breweries Limited
at TajVivanta, on November 30. Excited audiences shook hands with
Upendra and tapped feet on popular numbers performed by Sandalwood's
sensational music scorer Arjun Janya.
Speaking on the occasion Upendra, said "It's an extremely happy
moment for me. What can be better moment for any artist than connecting
with his fans. I have been associated with UB Export over a decade now,
and it has been a joyous journey. ‘Yella ok...?' reverberates in
people's mind till date and has been my most popular dialogue. I am
thankful to UB Export for having me with them to endorse the brand and
hope to continue the association, reaching many more milestones."
Upendra has been associated with UB Export since 1999 and has been
involved in stirring the mass appeal of the brand with his iconic punch
lines ‘Yella Ok. Bera Yella Yake?' as part of the ad campaign that still
rules the minds of people of Karnataka even after a decade.
